I intend to produce a film which celebrates modern industry and urbanity, instead of, as the trend currently is, to vilify such structures or environments. Indeed, traditional views of beauty are often found in rural or natural environments, but I believe that a beauty more relevant to modern society can be found in the tranquil stillness of isolated parts of a city, or in the activity of a factory where there is not a soul to be found. I feel an almost unexplainable attraction to the cold hard solidarity of such structures environments, but I will try to explain them through the medium of moving images.
